Job Opening: Executive Director

The Portneuf Greenway Foundation seeks an experienced leader with vision and passion in trail development, and a background of accomplishment to lead the Foundation in its efforts to develop and maintain a comprehensive Greenway through the Portneuf Valley. The Executive Director serves the Board of Directors and manages all the routine operations and business of the Foundation in areas such as trail development, maintenance  and management,  educational outreach, grants and fundraising, budgeting and planning, developing resources and representing PGF in government and private collaborative partnerships. This half time, salaried position includes flexible hours.  Review of applications will begin July 14th.

RiverWalk - Invasive Weeds of Bannock County
Saturday • July 26 •
8 - 9:30 a.m.
Location: Meet at the Sacajawea Park Trailhead
Dave Hallinan from the Bannock County Noxious Weed Control office will lead this walk along the Sacajawea Trail. In mid-summer the invasive weeds will be out in full force. This is a great opportunity to learn how to identify and control some of these too prevalent plants. Terrain is accessible to all. Co-sponsored by the Idaho Museum of Natural History and the Portneuf Greenway Foundation.
